It has long been my ambition to create life-size portraits of horses. I see it as an opportunity to study each subject in great depth as I attempt to describe what it is that makes them so special. Spending time with each horse is a vital part of the process as it gives me the chance to see the subject in its natural environment. I sculpt and sketch from life as much as possible.

I feel very privileged to have studied some of the very best racehorses, stallions and mares in the world. My aim is portray these champions in a way that describes their unique physicality and also pays tribute to their great achievements.
